When They Couldn’t Backpack, They Built a Bus Home

Amanda and Owen were planning to get married and take an 8-month-long honeymoon backpacking. They had been saving for years, but when 2020 hit, they had to pivot. So they decided on a bus conversion! The couple ended up splurging on this particular bus because it had a solid engine.

The resulting bus is absolutely lovely, with a large shower, oven and sink, beautiful pine ceilings and walls, and even a green velvet couch. They chose a residential door for the front and kept the original bus windows. Tell us what you think.

Really wonderful, beautiful home! I love the wood tones, and the shower is so pretty. The kitchen is nice, too, with it’s large or prepping area. You know, back in the day, when all beds were smaller, I think we had happier, closer couples. Really great job on this lovely home.

I don’t always want to see exactly what’s in every drawer and cupboard, but they have theirs so nicely organized, I enjoyed seeing the details here. Very nicely done. I would enjoy living in this bus.
