I love seeing what people can do with little-to-no experience and a tight budget! Young couple Jason and Taylor spent just $15,000 creating their awesome skoolie home, and neither of them had much of any building experience.
Taylor admits Jason did most of the build himself, and wow he did a great job! YouTube tutorials and lots of research helped through each step of the way, and the finished product is a bright and airy home.
While they’ve lived stationary in the bus for about a year, they hit the road a couple months ago to travel. Get all the details about their build from the Tiny Home Tours interview below.

Really nice. Cozy and pleasant.
Nice build. The light colors give it some spaciousness. Only thing for myself, I wouldn’t separate the sink from the toilet room. I like that the couch doesn’t face a wall like so many tiny homes do.
Absolutely beautiful! You did a wonderful job building a cozy interior even though you had no experience. I love the paint colors, and the bathroom. It really is lovely and so set up for travel. You did a great job! Be safe and enjoy your travels.
Cute couple, gorgeous dog and lovely home! Who could ask for more! Love it!!
Totally agree!
Lovely job Jason! I think you could do this for a living, it is done so well and lovely decorating job Taylor! So talented so young. Enjoy life!!!
