Aaron and his wife Sarah live full-time in the 2002 Chevy Express 2500 that he converted for just $22k (including the $6k for the bus itself). He had always dreamed of traveling, so he could enjoy all kinds of adventure sports, and was lucky enough to find a partner who loved the same things.
Amazingly, he documented the entire build process, and you can see a 50-second video below of a time-lapse of the conversion! He also has a few more videos explaining the build process and the choices they made. Check it out below!

VIDEO: How To Turn a Bus Into A Tiny Home
Story:
We have a 2010 chevy express 2500 short bus that I converted into a mobile home. We are currently living in it, and is not for sale. We are currently in Big Sky Montana but will be in Cincinnati Ohio most of April. The bus cost $6,000 after taxes and the conversion costed another $16,000 roughly so we have a total of $22,000 into it. Ever since I was in high school I have wanted to live on the road and travel, mainly because I love snowboarding, rock climbing, down hill mountain biking, and white water rafting. I had this idea that if I lived on the road then I would be able to do this stuff as much as possible. Luckily while I was going to college I met someone who wanted to live on the road as well and she has now become my wife. Once we both graduated college we decided to pursue this goal of living on the road and bought the bus. It took me about a year to fully convert.
