A few years ago, AnSperry saw #buslife on Instagram and was hooked — but it wasn’t until COVID hit and she lost her job that she decided at last to jump into a skoolie and “follow the universe” wherever it leads her.
She’s been bus-ing it since October, and named her conversion “This Poet’s Journey.” The interior features her own artwork and a lovely color pallet of white and copper. She has a queen-sized bed in her room, along with a large open shower stall made from leftover tiles.
Tiny Home Tours has blessed us with a video tour of her place which you can watch below, and be sure to follow AnSperry on Instagram.

What a delightful few minutes of loosing myself in the world that is An Sperry! In creating her “living art” skoolie, she has apparently found a beautiful place to be herself. Bravo!
Absolutely gorgeous! You can tell an artist lives here. I love the bedroom wall; it’s a great shade of green. The striped sofas are such a great accent with all the white. Copper can’t be beat for beauty, and I like the ways you used it in your home. You are good! It’s lovely : )
I spray painted all my hardware copper in my kitchen and I love it!
This is a gorgeous home you have created, An. Stunning. It’s amazing to see this as I, too, am an author and artist. Your work is very pretty and I stopped a few time so that I could get a feel off some of the alter pieces. Lovely. I, too, take it One Day At A Time. It’s the only way to go.
Another reason to comment: you keep such a clean home, which I can appreciate. At marker 13:14 – is that mould or paint spray? Just a quick worry about that. If it’s mould, it’s an easy fix with bleach etc…
So nice to see this video. I wish you a peaceful and passionate life’s journey.
Love Lyn
