If you have been eyeing a Scamp 19 but didn’t want to wait for a build slot, this one is already finished and sitting on the lot in Backus, Minnesota. It is a 2026 Scamp 19 Deluxe in Layout A, the fiberglass fifth wheel with a loft bed over the hitch.
What sets this unit apart is that it comes with a 16K fifth-wheel hitch and coupler, so you are not shopping for one separately, plus A/C with soft start and a heat strip, a 12-foot awning, and a backup camera.
About the Scamp 19 fifth wheel
The Scamp 19 is the biggest trailer Scamp builds, and it is a fifth wheel. The front of the shell rides over the bed of a pickup, and that raised nose holds a 76″ x 60″ loft bed, so the main floor is free for a full galley, a wet bath, and a rear dinette that converts to a second bed. It sleeps up to six and starts around 3,100 pounds dry, which is still light for a fifth wheel and within reach of many half-ton pickups. Every 19 is built as a Deluxe with a microwave, oven, furnace, dual propane tanks, and 15″ rims.
Layout A: Loft Bed, Galley, and Wet Bath
In the 19 Layout A, the loft bed sits over the hitch, and the main floor has a wet bath, a closet, a pantry, and a refrigerator up front. The galley with the sink and stove runs along one side, and a rear dinette with a table converts to a second bed. With the loft for sleeping, the dinette can stay set up as a table all day.
