The 2027.5 Plateau TS from Pleasure-Way is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Class B camper van built for long trips off the grid. Pleasure-Way has been building camper vans in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, for decades, and the Plateau TS packs a big bathroom, a full-size wardrobe, an extended galley, and a rear lounge that converts to a queen bed into 22’9″. It also comes standard with a 460Ah lithium battery system, solar, and a generator, so you can camp for days without hookups.

A Sprinter Built for Comfort

The Plateau TS rides on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter diesel chassis with a 170-inch wheelbase. Inside, there’s 6’3″ of headroom and seat belts for four. At just over 7 feet wide with the mirrors folded, it’s still easy to drive and park compared with a larger motorhome.

A Rear Lounge That Becomes a Queen Bed

At the back, a power sofa makes a comfortable lounge during the day and converts at night into a queen bed measuring 70″ by 76″. A Lagun table system swivels 360 degrees and adjusts in height, so you can set up a dinette wherever it’s most convenient, without a fixed post in the way.

A Big Bathroom and Extended Galley

The TS floor plan prioritizes a large bathroom, an 8-cubic-foot refrigerator, a full-size wardrobe, and an extended galley with a 6-foot Corian countertop, all while keeping the bank of passenger-side windows clear. With the big side door open and the roll-up screen in place, the counter becomes a prep and serving area that connects the kitchen to the outdoors.

Serious Off-Grid Power

The standard power system is what sets the Plateau TS apart. It includes a 460Ah Eco-Ion lithium battery bank, GoPower! solar, an inverter, and an Onan 2,500-watt propane generator. A Truma system handles air conditioning, heating, and on-demand hot water. A 10-inch touchscreen lets you monitor battery charge, solar input, and other systems at a glance.

What It Costs

Pleasure-Way lists the 2027.5 Plateau TS at an MSRP of $224,282 USD or $239,642 CAD (checked October 24, 2026). That price already includes the 460Ah lithium bank, solar, inverter, and Onan generator, which are often extra-cost options on other Class B vans. Dealer pricing, freight, and taxes vary, so get a quote from a Pleasure-Way dealer.

Before You Buy

  • Height: at 9’10” with the A/C, it won’t fit in most home garages or some parking structures.
  • Tanks: 24 gallons of fresh water is enough for a few days of careful use, but you’ll need to refill and dump regularly on long trips.
  • Payload: the GVWR is 11,030 lbs, so check the van’s actual weight and cargo capacity before loading up bikes, gear, and water.
  • Bed setup: the queen is the rear sofa, so you’ll convert it each night. The same space also makes two 24″ x 76″ single beds.

What Makes This Van Special

  • A large bathroom and full-size wardrobe in a Sprinter.
  • Standard lithium, solar, and generator for true off-grid travel.
  • A rear lounge that converts to a queen bed with the push of a button.
  • A long galley counter that opens to the outdoors through the side door.
