Not every buyer wants a bathroom in a small trailer. This 2026 Scamp 16 Deluxe in Layout D uses that space for a second dinette instead, and it is ready now on Scamp’s Phoenix, Arizona lot.

It comes with a large 3-way refrigerator that runs on propane, 12-volt, or shore power, a 12-foot awning, Starlink prep, an anti-sway bar, dual propane tanks, and an outdoor shower. It does not have an air conditioner.

About the Scamp 16

The Scamp 16 adds three feet to the classic egg, and those three feet change how the trailer lives. There is room for a real side dinette or a wet bath without giving up the big rear bed, and the 16 still starts at only about 1,900 pounds dry. It is a popular size for couples who want to camp for weeks rather than weekends without moving up to a heavy tow vehicle.

Layout D: Two Tables, No Bathroom

Layout D skips the bathroom and uses the space for living instead. The rear dinette converts to the big bed, a side dinette with its own table sits across from the galley, and the front holds a sofa/bunk with storage underneath. It sleeps more people than the bathroom plans and gives two separate spots to sit. The Deluxe version includes a microwave and a furnace.
