The Scamp X ALT is the off-road Scamp with a bathroom, and this 2026 unit is already built. It has a grey lower shell, X decals, and the X’s lifted, off-road-tired stance.

It is equipped for year-round use with a 10K underbunk air conditioner and heat pump plus a 20,000 BTU furnace. The roof rack comes with two crossbar sets for bikes, boats, or boxes, and it also has an outdoor shower and an exterior grab handle.

About the Scamp X

The Scamp X is Scamp’s off-road version of the 13. It keeps the familiar fiberglass shell but sits on Timbren heavy-duty suspension with ST235/75R15 off-road tires, an upgraded axle, and an articulating hitch, giving it 18 inches of ground clearance and 17-degree approach and 22-degree departure angles. Inside it gets its own look: grey and white cabinetry, quilted X cushions, rubber coin flooring, and a U-shaped rear dinette that drops into the bed. Dual propane tanks and a roof rack come standard.

ALT Layout: U-Dinette and a Front Bathroom

The ALT (Altitude) layout keeps the U-shaped rear dinette and full galley but swaps the front sofa for a wet bath with a toilet, shower, and black tank, plus a closet. It is the more self-contained Scamp X for people who camp far from facilities.

Why Buy an In-Stock Scamp

The Scamp X is still new, so few finished ones are around. An in-stock unit lets you see the off-road version in person and take it home right away. In-stock trailers do sell, so check Scamp’s in-stock page to make sure this one is still available.
