The Scamp 16 Layout B is one of Scamp’s best-selling floor plans, and this 2026 Deluxe is set up for camping off-grid.
Its 100Ah lithium battery pairs with a large 12-volt compressor refrigerator. That fridge doesn’t need propane and holds temperature well in hot weather. It also has an A/C with soft start and a heat strip, a power tongue jack, a backup camera, a wireless brake controller, a 12-foot awning, and an outdoor shower.
About the Scamp 16
The Scamp 16 adds three feet to the classic egg, and those three feet change how the trailer lives. There is room for a real side dinette or a wet bath without giving up the big rear bed, and the 16 still starts at only about 1,900 pounds dry. It is a popular size for couples who want to camp for weeks rather than weekends without moving up to a heavy tow vehicle.
Layout B: Side Dinette and a Front Bathroom
Layout B is one of the most popular 16-foot floor plans. The rear dinette converts to the big bed and can stay made up, because a second side dinette with its own table sits across from the galley. Up front is a wet bath with a toilet and shower plus a closet. That means a bed, a table, and a bathroom are all usable at the same time, which is what makes the 16 comfortable for longer trips. The Deluxe 16 adds a furnace and, on this layout, a microwave.
