This 2026 Scamp 16 in Layout 4 has a wet bath in the middle and a sofa bunk up front, and it comes with useful upgrades.

It has a 10K underbunk A/C and heat pump, a 100Ah lithium battery, an electronic keyless door handle, a backup camera, a wireless brake controller, and a storage cover for the off-season. It has the standard 3-cubic-foot refrigerator and no furnace; the heat pump handles mild cold.

About the Scamp 16

The Scamp 16 adds three feet to the classic egg, and those three feet change how the trailer lives. There is room for a real side dinette or a wet bath without giving up the big rear bed, and the 16 still starts at only about 1,900 pounds dry. It is a popular size for couples who want to camp for weeks rather than weekends without moving up to a heavy tow vehicle.

Layout 4: Wet Bath and a Front Sofa

Layout 4 puts a wet bath with a toilet and shower in the middle of the trailer and a sofa/bunk with storage across the front. The rear dinette converts to the bed, and the galley with the stove and refrigerator runs along the side. It is a good plan for two people who want a bathroom and a second place to sit.
