The A-Frame Luxe from Great Lakes Tiny Home, built in Ohio’s Amish Country, pairs a modern black-metal tiny home with a classic A-frame twist. The bedroom end of the house rises into a steep A-frame with a floor-to-ceiling triangle of glass right over the bed, and the front opens onto a big timber-framed covered porch. At 13’6″ wide, it’s a roomy park model with 395 square feet on the main floor plus a 108-square-foot loft. This one is finished and available now.

Black Metal, Cedar, and a Covered Porch

Outside, corrugated black metal siding and a textured metal roof give the house a sharp, modern look, softened by rough-sawn cedar posts and beams on the porch. The 14-by-11-foot covered porch has composite decking, aluminum railings, and cedar on the ceiling, so it’s a true outdoor room.

Around back, the A-frame end shows off its steep roofline. A Bosch ductless mini-split system, with two indoor units, keeps the whole house comfortable year-round.

An Open Kitchen and Living Room

Inside the French doors, the kitchen and living room share one open space under a pine tongue-and-groove ceiling, with poplar nickel-gap walls. The kitchen is the showpiece, with deep forest-green cabinets, quartz countertops, a tile backsplash, a double-bowl sink, and full-size black appliances, including a four-burner oven, a built-in microwave, and a dishwasher.

Laundry, Storage, and a Full Bath

Down the hall, a stacked washer and dryer and a deep pantry closet with built-in shelves add the kind of storage most tiny homes don’t have room for.

A Bedroom Under the A-Frame

The main-floor bedroom is the reason to fall for this house. It sits at the A-frame end under a vaulted ceiling, with a giant triangular window framed in black and accented with cedar trim. A queen bed frame with storage drawers is included, so you wake up looking straight out at the sky.

A Loft for Guests or Storage

A ladder from the kitchen leads to a 13’6″ x 8′ loft under a dark wood ceiling. It works as a second sleeping area for guests or kids, or as extra storage, which lets the house sleep up to four.

The floor plans show how it all fits together, with the porch and living space at one end, the kitchen, hallway, and bath in the middle, and the bedroom under the A-frame.
