Parents & Daughters in their Bougie Bus

It took two years of weekend-warrior-ing, but at long last this military family has an amazing school bus conversion to call home! The husband is Active Duty Coast Guard, and as a mechanic was certain he could fix any mechanical issues that come up with the vehicle. But constructing the interior (where nothing is square), was a whole new adventure.

His wife and two young daughters can now easily travel with him wherever the Coast Guard calls, and the bus is perfectly designed to give the girls their own awesome spaces that will grow with them. The almost-circular kitchen is totally different than what we usually see, as well!

I love seeing people think outside the box. Enjoy the tour!

Happy Family hitting the road!

They added two skylights to the bus.

The girls’ very special bunk area.

They safely installed car seats for both kids.

Lauren learned to sew just to make those cool curtains!
