Just before the pandemic hit, Annie and her boyfriend split and she moved out and onto a new adventure. She chose a tiny van and built it out with a slat bed and hit the road! While she knew she enjoyed the nomadic life, she decided to upgrade to a more spacious truck camper with a bump out and a wet bath.
She completely remodeled her current rig, bringing it into 2021 style and making it fit her lifestyle. Annie’s constant companion is her dog, named Bear, and they are chasing good weather across the country. Her tech job is forever-remote now, so she does the 9-5 from “home” and then explores when she’s off duty. Awesome!

“Death Cabover Girl”?
Great decision! You still have a truck if you need it! unload unloadcamper and use as a daily driver. Sure beats a dedicated RV or Van that will only work for one purpose. With those essentially you need another car. To insure, maintain, etc. I love my truck camper and my diesel truck. Great setup for boating a well. Ive put 55,000 miles on with my camper since 2016. With AC, bathroom, all built in already for a fraction that people are putting into these Vans. Oh and power. I have a nice Ac Unit that keeps me cool in the summer. I have a Preditor 3500 powing that. it sips gas 15 hours on 2 gallon. Not bad in my mind when in humid climates. Only problem that Ive faced is off roading. anchor points are not the best. oh and high bridges trussel bridges. I always carry a chainsaw, and ford creeks in those cases. Great rebuild! Im about due for one myself!
We would love to see your spot, Roger.
