Chris and Brandy were tired of their standard working life and decided to make the change to traveling full-time in their DIY school bus conversion. Brandy says she used to suffer from constant anxiety, but their life on the road has dramatically reduced her anxiety!

They went with a spa-like grey and light blue interior, and tucked their bed into a cozy back cubby! They use cargo nets to store clothing.

They chose a special bus that was mechanically sound.

They pull their trunk behind so it’s easier to travel when they arrive at a destination.

        It’s been growing in popularity for years, a number of people have done it for their skoolie conversion but the more interesting trend now is people who modify their composting toilet with a bidet…

        This Off Grid Life, for example, did that upgrade to their composting toilet for their skoolie that they’re living in as they build their off grid cabin home last year and posted it on their channel… and you can find a number of the online skoolie chat forums talking about such installs…
