In October 2020, Kaitlyn and Eugene hit the road in their self-converted Promaster 3500 Extended. These high school sweethearts have been married for 10 years and spent about 10 months converting their empty cargo van into a loving home.
This van has everything you could want — a refrigerator/freezer, a shower, and even a toilet! They definitely didn’t spare any expense to make this place a comfortable home.

OMG I LOVED THIS VIDEO!!! yeah he says “actually” a whole big bunch BUT STILL omg! They really did fix up this perfectly! So much hard work designing and building their THOW literally! What a life they are LIVING. Sorry, not sorry, about the all caps but this truly hit me in the best way.
Love, love this video! I’ve been thinking of building out a van for awhile, and I love that yours has a shower, and solar.
Nice head, shower but the bed is too high and not good for sitting upright in and no backrest. It needs to be lowered 6″ and remove the cabinets on one side or the other or an angled board in front of them for a seat back.
The video was very well done—organized, concise, thorough, easy to listen to. And they did a great job with the van. Really well organized, and lots of special touches to make it convenient, like the dining table, and the extendable shower curtain rod. I’m impressed.
I am extremely impressed by the professional look of this. To think a young couple did this themselves gives alot of hope to others wanting to live this life. But I am wondering who is Kevin?
I think it was just a “punny” name because they could say “ke-VAN”
