Married Life in their Plant-Filled Tiny Home

Rebekah wanted a place of her own and designed a custom tiny house with Mini Mansions, making her dreams a reality. Her home is bursting with storage but still feels open and functional. Now that she’s married, she lives with her husband and cat Peach in their teeny tiny space.

She has a full-sized kitchen with tons of counter space, a cozy living room under one of the lofts, and a 3/4 bathroom under the main loft bedroom. Enjoy her photo tour and interview below.

Here it is in-progress at Mini Mansions

Rebekah and Peach moved in about two years.

Plants are her main decoration.

She has a ton of counter space!

Peach is such a cutie hanging out on the pantry.

Even more plants in the living area.

The ceiling fan provides airflow.

She has a washer and dryer in the kitchen.

There’s a flush toilet, shower and vanity.

Here’s the layout for her THOW.

I love the tree on her lot!

Description:

Rebekah (me), my husband Luke, and our kitty cat Peach all live in a 30’x8.5’ tiny home on wheels. Rebekah and Peach moved in October of 2020. She did not wanted to get caught up in the rent trap and loved the minimalistic lifestyle that brought both flexibility and freedom. The home is NOAH certified and was built in 4 months by Mini Mansions Tiny Home Builders based out of MO. The couple duo Mark and Emily were wonderful people who truly cared about the build of my home.

Luke and I love living tiny and know this is exactly where we want to be in this season of life.

Lovely! I’m a plant lover too! Also love cats!! A perfect setup for them in this sweet home. Of course need to be sure the cats don’t any plants that could be toxic. I would add a pot of fresh catnip for sure!!!

Finally! A tiny house with a great kitchen and a nice living room with a logical place for a big screen TV and a good window! And it feels very homey. I’d like to see one built 10′ wide instead of 8.5. I have seen that it makes a big difference in how spacious it feels. The plants are lovely. Say hi to Peach!

I’d be wary of the overhanging branch(es) because if one should break off… well that would be on heckova mess to clean up and fix.
