The Scamp 13 is a classic for good reason. Built by Scamp Trailers in Backus, Minnesota, this 13-foot molded fiberglass travel trailer starts at just 1,600 pounds dry, yet it still sleeps up to four.

Small, Light, and Easy to Tow

At 13 feet long and 6’8″ wide, the Scamp 13 slips into tight campsites and is easy to maneuver. The starting hitch weight is about 180 pounds, and the trailer’s GVWR is 2,200 pounds. With 12 inches of ground clearance, it handles gravel roads and campground ruts without much fuss.

A Cozy, Wood-Trimmed Interior

Inside, maple cabinets with nickel hardware warm up the fiberglass shell, and the 6-foot interior height lets most people stand. The standard layout has a big rear bed, a compact galley with a sink and stove, a dinette with a pedestal table that converts for sleeping, and a front sofa that can be a bunk. Depending on the layout, the rear bed is 76 by 54 inches or 76 by 44 inches, and the front bunk is 76 by 30 inches.
