They Rented This ESCAPE eONE to Snowbirds in New Smyrna Beach — Now the 408 sq ft Tiny House Is $85,000

Geoff Daigle and Candace bought this ESCAPE eONE in November 2024 as a rental in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. They’re fans of tiny-home efficiency. On Airbnb and VRBO it went to traveling professionals who preferred it over hotels, and to snowbirds who stayed a month at a time.

The RV park is no longer allowing rentals, so they are selling. The house is 408 square feet, fully furnished, and listed at $85,000. You can move it — or move into the Florida site at $575/month plus electricity.

A New Smyrna Beach Rental

Escaperoo sits at Gold Rock RV Park in New Smyrna Beach, on Florida’s central east coast — between Daytona Beach and Orlando. A month-long VRBO guest wrote that it was an eight-minute drive to the beach, easy to live in, and that the hosts even offered extra blankets when it got chilly. The park now requires the unit to be owner-occupied.

The exterior is custom-stained wood, dark and boxy, with a glass door under a small metal awning, a kitchen window, loft glass, and a 6 × 12 ft wooden deck. Site number 8 is on the front. Oaks and Spanish moss sit behind it. The eONE is on a trailer — 26 feet long (31 feet with the hitch), 8 feet 6 inches wide, 13 feet 6 inches tall, about 11,000 pounds. Geoff’s site says a one-ton truck can haul it.

The eONE Layout

Escape Traveler’s eONE is the all-electric version of their ONE. Geoff’s write-up is the one we hear on this model: a huge open layout, impressive height, a large second floor, and big windows / lots of light. Sealed, sustainably grown birch runs the walls and ceiling. Butcher-block counters. Thoughtful design, modern amenities.

The living end is a place to unwind: a white loveseat, a 48-inch desk under a wall-mounted 43-inch smart TV (a Hisense Roku on his site), and a picture window onto the lot. A 48-inch table sits in front of another large window with two stools — dining, or a place to open a laptop. USB outlets are throughout.

Kitchen and Bath

The kitchen is all-electric: an induction cooktop (two-burner, with a hood), an oven, a large microwave, and a tall fridge/freezer. Stainless, spacious butcher-block counters, extra-tall cabinets, and a lot of storage. A built-in washer/dryer combo sits in the run toward the living end. A kitchen window looks over the deck.

The hallway is the eONE’s spine — tall cabinets on one side, low drawers on the other, recessed LEDs down the birch ceiling, stairs and daylight at the far end.

The bathroom has a full-size shower, a wall-mount sink, birch storage cabinets, a lighted magnifying mirror, and a Toto toilet. An operable frosted window lets in air. There’s a small bathroom heater for the cooler nights.

Loft / Second Floor

This is the eONE move: a huge second floor with floor-to-ceiling windows and a walkway to a second upper level. The first loft takes a queen — about 56 inches of headroom, blockout shades on three large windows, and operable glass with screens. Clothes hang on adjustable racks. Step up the catwalk and the second loft (about 48 inches) sits over the kitchen as storage. White railings run the openings. The HE A/C heat pump head is on the upper wall; there are wall heaters for chillier days.

For Sale — $85,000; $575/mo Site Optional

Asking $85,000. That’s the price on Geoff’s form and on escaperoo.com — more pictures there. It is fully furnished as shown. The unit is about a year and a half old and in excellent condition. It’s RVIA certified, with an upgraded EV power system at 50A / 240V, so RV financing is on the table if a lender likes the file.

You can move in at the New Smyrna Beach RV site for $575/month plus electricity (his site says electric is typically around $45). Or haul it to your own place. The park is no longer a rental play — owner-occupied only.

We’ve toured factory eONEs before. This is a different house: a lived-in 2024 unit with a rental history, listed by the owners. Builder site (the real one): escapetraveler.net.
