James and Doreen had a 4,000-square-foot home, but the upkeep was just becoming overwhelming. So they decided to get a skoolie! Now they can visit their 4 kids (who all live in different places) and spend their springtime boating in Louisiana.
Their bus is unlike any we’ve seen before, with a full-size commercial kitchen (including THREE sinks), a table near the front window, and stucco walls on the inside of the bus. They chose not to have a hallway, and instead have a spacious bathroom. What do you think?

Love the dog:) Aussies are the best! HOme is nice too, lol.
Now thats a home! I love it! The woodwork is beautiful. I had a good laugh at myself when I thought they put the shower in the kitchen across from the window. Hey, to each his own. Then I realized it was the bathroom and that was the mirror.
James and Doreen! I’ve watched you help Elsa Rhae and Barron’s build and I must say, you are the ultimate neighbors!
Your bus is the perfect blend of aesthetics and practicality. Beautifully done!
I really loved hearing you express your community minded sense of being of service to others. I can see it in your relationship with Elsa Rhae and Barron – such a joy to watch.
Thank you, James!
