Miss Daisy: Couple’s Retirement Skoolie

Shirley and A.W. wanted to do something new during retirement, so they bought a bus and built out a skoolie! Their only regret? That they didn’t do it sooner!

They have a neat L-shaped couch in the back of the bus which becomes their queen-sized bed at night, and another couch that turns into a twin for any guests. They are taking long trips when they can and staying close to home for longer stints to visit their new grandbabies.

I love the “plug-n-play” concept of no stove. It frees up enormous counter space and allows you to only take out whatever cooking implement best serves what you’re cooking. If you need a crock pot; pull it out. If you need a gas wok, well there you go. Such a clever concept to have no range always taking up valuable real estate space.

I love the wood/retro/turquoise look. The wood gives such a classy look. Thanks for showing all the nice touches. I hope you enjoy it well.
