Le Koroc is a beautifully handcrafted tiny houseboat built by Richard’s company, Daigno, in Quebec, Canada.
From the outside, it’s hard to believe there’s a full kitchen, a full bathroom (with shower), a large dinette that converts into a bed, and another smaller eating area crammed into this micro cabin. Not to mention the enormous deck for enjoying the water and fresh air!

The boat is built on 3 aluminum pontoons and most of the wood is white cedar because it’s lightweight and resists rot. There’s a solar panel to run the water pump, fridge and lights, and a propane tank for the hot water heater and the cooktop.

Richard even built a custom charcoal greywater filter for the shower and sinks to remove impurities before the water is pumped out into the lake or river that he’s on.

This is beautiful! He does gorgeous wood work. It might be to hot to stay in on a lake in the South but is probably heaven in the Summers up North.
* too hot
This is clearly a very well thought out and well-crafted build. I wish him luck in future endeavors. What a great place to live while being on the lake. Awesome!
This is beautiful, a few feet added to the living space and it would make for a very livable home.
The best boat home I’ve ever seen was on the episode of fixer upper when they fixed a house boat with Chip & Joanna Gaines!!! If you could do something like that and for the price let us know!!! Thanks and enjoy your day!
Sincerely, The Ostrowski’s
