They Built a Nordic House Boat Cabin in Stockholm

Houseboats aren’t exactly popular in Sweden, but when done, they are done well! This one sits on a special ice-resistant float so it can stay in the frozen water all year long.

It’s set up as a vacation spot and includes a huge sauna, comfortable bedroom, and a full kitchen and office space. Double-glazed windows provide beautiful views of the surrounding ocean area.

Nice job! It looks like a great vacation spot and I expect unsinkable. I love the idea of living on the water, even if its just frequent vacations.

Very nice but, for people looking at emulating, you need to get the amount of concrete right else you run the risk of it sinking. Been there and seen that.

This would be great on some rural property in Texas near a small pond. Love the simplicity & the style! Great for a getaway or AirBNB…
