Calvin and Katsi purchased this tiny home to live in while Calvin was travel nursing. They bought the THOW from another owner, and painted the all-wood interior a bright white. It really opened up the space!
Plans changed, so the couple is now selling the renovated tiny home for $60,000 (they are in Tallahassee, Florida). It’s such a beautiful little house — what do you think?

The Story:
It is located in Tallahassee, Florida. It is for sale for $60,000. We bought it to live in while my husband did Travel nursing. We bought it used but renovated it a lot ourselves. We had stairs put in, it used to have a ladder to get to the loft. We had it painted white as it was all brown wood inside originally. The white made it feel so much bigger! We redid the bathroom with a new vanity, light fixture, and mirror.

Congratulations – I love what you have done with this tiny home. Having 9 steps to the loft is a major plus for those who are unable to climb the stairs that have only 5 or 6 steps – too steep! The white color is calming and makes it look larger I am sure. The bathroom is very nicely done. The price is right. I wish I were ready to move…..I’d be in Tallahassee in a flash! Bet you sell it in a week!
I like it.
Very sensible and executed tastefully.
The stairs were a good idea, but I would’ve included a full length hand rail. It could’ve been connected to the rail at the top by replacing the elbow with an elbow that has an extra 90 degree connection.
Otherwise, a rather nice abode.
