Adorable! Rasa by Simplify Further Tiny Homes

This post may contain affiliate links & sponsored content.

This tiny house in Gainsville, Florida, was built by Simplify Further Tiny Homes. It is brand-new and ready to purchase! Called “The Rasa,” this 20-foot tiny house features a cool “middle” loft that makes a living room above an enclosed bedroom with a low ceiling. This negates middle-of-the-night ladder climbing, while still maximizing space.

That said, there is another loft in the home with a ladder, should you need it for storage, an office or another sleeping area. The kitchen has sleek black cabinets and beautiful butcher block countertops, and the 3/4 bathroom has a built-in linen closet. You can purchase the house for $40,000.

Cute 20-Foot THOW for $40K!

From this perspective, you can see the “middle” loft.

And here’s the standard loft.

The darker wood tone and industrial piping complement each other.

There are many lower cabinets for storage.

A compact corner stair goes to the living room.

Some small shelving works well for glasses.

This is a comfortable spot to hang out.

And you can sleep here! So nice.

The window keeps it from feeling claustrophobic.

The tiled shower stall is nice in the bathroom.

The bathroom has residential toilet.

A washer/dryer unit hides behind the steps.

I love the door with internal blinds!

I would make alot of changes to this home. I would get rid of all the black and dark wood. I would get rid of the small black stair case and put a free standing apartment size stove and remove that small cook top. I would replace the kitchen facet with one that has a spout and hot and cold handles because the one they have will break in a year. I know this because I had one. I would not have tile in the shower. Because it will have to be regrouted in a couple of years and be resealed. If you don’t you will have water damage, been there in my own bathroom. Full fiber glass walls should be used. I would replace the front door with a fan light door, the one they have the blind will break in time and have to be replaced. The white grout for the bathroom floor is a no. It will get real dirty.

These days, the shower should have a water proof membrane in place before anything else. So shouldn’t be a problem unless the bathroom wasn’t done properly.

There’s also many faux tile products that would have no grout issues and avoids the weight of tiles. Along with the higher cost of doing tiles to the standard required for a mobile structure.

There’s even products where you can swap out the top layer to change appearance whenever you want…
