We don’t see as many pine-clad tiny homes as we once did, so a throwback like this is always welcome. THOWs like this give off a lovely cabin vibe! This one is single level, with a multipurpose living room and bedroom. And there’s no loft in sight.
A small kitchen area has a two-burner cooktop and a microwave, and you can plug in a refrigerator. A small counter under the window would give you some seating for mealtimes, and there’s a small bathroom in the back of the house. You can purchase this house, built by Trinity Tiny Homes NC, for $55,000.

It looks nice and there is no loft which I like.
What are ZIPS?
A popular sheathing product for high end home construction, which is an all-in-one structural panel (examples include OSB, Plywood, etc) but with built-in exterior insulation/house wrap already applied to each panel.
So no need for house wrap, etc. and just use their sealant tape, or similar (assuming it’s compatible with the exterior insulation coating and won’t peel off) all weather sealant product (fluid apply, etc), to seal the joints between panels. Providing the benefit of quick installation that’s also more reliable and durable than previous traditional methods with applying the layers separately.
The company also has a range of similar products, including one’s with insulation layer for added functionality…
James, thank you for that. Saves time and weight.
There should be a ready interior surface, too to make it perfect.
Do you have their website?
I haven’t been able to find it.
Look up Huber Engineered Woods, they’re the company behind that product…
This is really nice and simple, but also pretty. It’ll be warm and cozy when the owner adds their own touches.
