Magical Log Cabin with Three Bedrooms, Pennsylvania

While this is a vacation property, it’s the kind of place I could easily see a family living in quite happily year-round. At 1250 square feet, it’s by no means “tiny,” but would still be more compact than many of the McMansions people live in today.

You walk into an open-concept living room and kitchen, complete with a stone fireplace and dishwasher! A full staircase leads up to the loft bedroom with two twin beds, while downstairs you’ll find mirror queen beds in fully-enclosed bedrooms. Last, but not least, there’s a full bathroom across from the staircase.

This cozy spot includes a firepit and picnic tables, and it’s woodland surroundings make it a great spot to bring your immediate family for vacation. Book your stay here.

This is beautiful. I could live in this year round. It isn’t too small nor too big. Would look beautiful up here in the Sierra’s on our property. Am 2 miles from Lake Isabella in the Sequoia National Forest here in CA. You don’t realize you are in CA up here. I really love this cabin.

“Could I live here?” Seriously? A better question would be “is there anyone who couldn’t live here” and I am pretty sure that would be NO.
    Absolutely enchanting 😍!

Well actually…NO! Wood log houses are not good at insulating against wild, wet winters.

I’d give up one of the bedrooms and move the kitchen & bath back, to allow a bigger living space. I’d also put in a glass walled shower. Other than that, this is really cute !

You could try to contact the builders through the rental website and ask them if they can share 🙂

It says 1 full bath, but the photos clearly depict two different bathrooms, each have at least a shower if you go by the curtain? Different flooring and vanities in each photo. Did I miss something?

It actually has 2 bathrooms, one is in the finished basement, along with the laundry room… The other is on the middle/main level by the master bedroom and just behind the kitchen.
