Samantha was flying around the world and paying for an apartment she was rarely in, and she knew something had to give. When the events of 2020 shut down travel, she bought a van and converted it in 3 months. It’s been the best option for her, allowing her to bring “home” to the airport, so it’s there waiting for her when she gets back.
The best part? She only spent $7K on her DIY conversion! The inside of her rig is super cute with lots of dark-stained wood contrasting with pale pink flowers. Let us know what you think.

Very pretty, and that’s important for any space you’re going to call home. It has to set the mood you need when you walk through the door, right? This van is classy and lovely, and looks comfortable. I applaud anyone with the courage to “work” 6 miles above the Earth’s surface on a regular basis and still be able to smile and help people. You’re amazing! And so is your beautiful van. Safe travels : )
Very, very lovely! I so do like her honesty about what she would do differently also the pros and cons. I would have liked to know more about how she cooks her food? Otherwise, very impressive and another example of how this lifestyle so transforms people!
No mention of cooking, either, so between work and planet fitness and maybe eating out, maybe she doesn’t spend as much time there as I would.
