Here’s a guest post by Valerie Fredericks on a 160 sq. ft. shipping container home for sale.
This 20′ x 8′ newly built tiny home is an eco-friendly reuse of a shipping container, so you can feel good about helping to conserve our planets’ resources. It is easily adaptable for on or off-grid living, as well as energy-efficient and cost saving with its well insulated interior walls.
The sturdy roll-up lockable door is installed over the 6 ft. slider entryway and is designed with extra security in mind. It keeps your property secure when closed, while when open it allows sunlight in through the dual-paned glass doors.
This shipping container tiny home comes with a small kitchenette (cold water sink and base cabinet) and conventional toilet.

Looking for tiny house with pullout bed under kitchen or murphy bed.used or new in atlanta, reno, or tuscon, phoenix. GREEN if possible. Thanks.
Overall, this is a nice start to a tiny home, but to enjoy a tiny space, one has to have lots of light and views, and this lacks both unless you can stand in front of the french doors all day. It has been estimated that people spend almost 70% of their time in the kitchen, so to have a kitchen without a window is dismal. Add a window to the kitchen space, and one over the table in the living room at a height where the view is visible from a seat on the sofa, then call it a tiny home. Other than that, it’s okay.
No shower and not even a microwave? Booooo!
Hello Jim!
This is a proto-type. All of our new units will have a shower. Microwave is a choice and we leave that up to you.
Thanks for the comment.

I like this, but not ready to purchase. Does your company have a website or Facebook page? I am definitely interested in keeping track of what you are doing.
