Whitney had always done the responsible thing — kept a desk job so she could pay off her student loans. But she really wanted to jump into #vanlife!
As she approached 30, she realized it was now or never, so she searched for a van until she found something she could purchase with cash. Then she worked on making her 1989 GMC Vandura a home.
You’ll love her simplistic interior and tips for a mini dustpan, outdoor trash can, and even a portable toilet. Watch the video below.

I was exhausted listening to the inventory, so I advanced a minute… several times.
What kind of college degree?
How much remaining on the loans she received?
mountain back plash… Yes indeedy, can’t go without one of them… lol
Don’t be dissing her “plash” now. It’s a nice set up! I really like the way you did the bed where you can stand on either side and reach storage from the closets and from under the bed. Makes life easier. Some clever ideas in the van. Be safe out there!
Nice van, and that is a good way to get out photograph all kinds of places, nature, and people. I love taking pictures, and admire you in adventures.
