“You get to travel without the schedule.”

That’s what Jesus has to say about his last year of #vanlife. He had purchased the van about a year prior to the pandemic hitting, but didn’t have any serious plans about living in it. But when “life as we know it” changed, he decided to build it out (in only 10 days!) and hit the road.

Now he’s not sure if he’ll ever go back to work, and wants to spend at least two more years travelling the United States, Canada and Alaska! Enjoy the video tour of his Promaster Extended build-out from Tiny Home Tours below.

sounds like he has found his niche but I don’t think many others crave being away from people for long stretches of time as he does. Restocking supplies like food and water and doing laundry are important to most and 45 days without seeing another person wouldn’t be my ideal. Seems he is not earning an income and i also wonder about using a toilet! Glad it works for him, I would need a furkid for sanity and a sense of companionship.

Don’t think he craves isolation, most of his touring to date was just during the lock down and doing what he thought was safe. So he mostly communicates online with his friends and family but he would otherwise socialize if he had more of a choice.

While a porta potti was shown during the tour, so he has that covered…
