Description:

2.4 acres of cleared, unrestricted land with a “tiny cabin” and a peaceful stream. Nestled in the ridges on the way to the Blue Ridge Parkway this property borders Pisgah National Forest.

The flat land is ready for small-farm hobbyists with goats or sheep, chickens or ducks, or summer gardens. Forage the surrounding woods and collect water from the near-by spring for a complete mountain home experience.

The 399 sq. foot Tiny House on Wheels was custom built by Sweet Haus in South Carolina in May 2022. It is constructed out of solid logs. A covered porch greets you as you walk into a large tiny house with all natural wood counters, walls, cabinetry and Scandinavian-style rafter beams. This tiny house features a substantial kitchen with butcher-block counters, double sink, regular refrigerator and freezer, small dishwasher, double-burner glass cooktop, and convertible multi-use oven/microwave. The main floor of the house has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed platform. The bathroom is roomy with a full bath tub and shower. The airy and bright loft is also large enough for any-size mattress or several twin beds. There is a closet with full size and separate washer and dryer units. The W/D units came new with the house. The house is heated and cooled via two Mitsubishi Electric Mini-splits that have been proven to dehumidify and cool down the house during the heat of the summer and keep up the warmth during some hard freezes. A wood-burning stove was professionally installed after the house was transported for an additional heat source and incredible ambiance. The house is built with ample storage all throughout the space to encourage any dreamers with a small family to give minimalism a try!

20 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 30 minutes from the Black Balsam, Sam’s Knob, and Graveyard Fields popular trails.

A complete list of improvements to the land and house and a YouTube walk-through can be provided upon request for serious buyers.

    Very nice but overpriced.

For a real estate listing where the median home pricing, as of December for last statistic posted, in the area is $529K… Nope, just the market there right now…

Besides, value of property isn’t limited to it’s size. Like being able to farm, homestead, have free use, having good views, being in a desirable area, etc. isn’t a given with just any property. Location, and everything that goes with it will always effect the value of a property…

True, James. I live in NC and was thinking that this was a great price for a lovely little home on lots of land in a good area.

The house is adorable and when I saw the bedroom on the main floor I was sold. Now if you could pick up the home, and land and transport it all to Vancouver Island, British Columbia we would be set.
The price is what I’d call a smoking hot deal. You can’t find a city sized lot 32 Ft. wide for that price, $250K.
Having a stream and being able to farm the property of more than 2 acres is amazing. In many places in British Columbia that amount of land and house could not be had for that price. It would most likely be over a million. In Vancouver, B.C., the last time I looked at parking spots, in a condo building, one was $110K and another $100K.
The fireplace is so cute. Its perfect for when the power goes out. I like where the washer and dryer are. The bathroom looks like its a good size. This house has everything a person could want. The tree out front of the house is lovely. It would make a great vacation home also.
This is one of the nicest tiny homes I’ve seen. There are others which are more upscale, etc. but this one just has everything in the right place for me.

You may be able to find out that information from the listing if they have a Google map showing the location, or from googling the address.
