Their High-Tech Box Truck Tiny House

This post contains affiliate links.

Nico & Jona are on their third tiny house on wheels, and by now they knew exactly what they needed to make their truck tiny home nearly perfect. Learning from past builds, they got this one professionally-designed by Nico’s brother-in-law (an architect) and it really shows!

Plus, they chose to splurge on all kinds of upgrades, like a dishwasher, washing machine, eco-flow shower head and incinerating toilet! As Nico says, could they have done it cheaper? Of course. But are they happy? Absolutely. What do you think?

I think the Thier family did a great job on their House-Truck.
This illustrates the benefits of a few conversions under your belt prior to tackling the big job.

Similar to our ExpeditionVehicle, the Thier family built without a bunch of cabinets occupying cubic space.

Great build with a lot of comfort. The double floor is a great idea to bring the weight down istead of overhead lockers. IKEA is a good source to save on time if you aren’t a carpenter and the fold down table has been around for decades. I like the spacious kitchen, the dishwasher and of course the water saving showerhead. The toilet isn’t my thing, too. The composting ones are cheaper and more economical to run.
