You might remember David Rule as the young man who built his tiny house on wheels without previous building experience! Well, he’s at it again, this time building himself an amazing truck bed camper so he can travel in comfort. While similarly-sized products cost upwards of $20,000, David spent only $3,340 to complete his—and it looks so fun and homey!
He shows you the whole process while entertaining you with many “dad jokes” and plenty of playfulness. The craftsmanship is incredible, and the door has to be my favorite part. What do you think?

- He put in two porthole windows and some RV windows for ventilation.
- He crafted a gorgeous statement door, and even added some turf to the tailgate.

Great job on the camper! Very cool look to it and very functional too. I do love the back door and the way the upper part can swing upwards and provide some shade or shelter from rain. Why didn’t I think of that when I made mine. And best of all , how you presented your video , Very entertaining , funny and of course very informative! Keep up the great work!
