It’s custom built, you might want to look up what custom built anything costs before calling it over priced… You may not want to pay for anything custom built but there’s reasons for its costs and reasons why people choose to do it that way vs cheaper options…

And no, RV’s are recreational vehicles. So anything not specifically intended only for recreational usage is not an RV. Least of all something that is specifically built for full time living, meeting or exceeding the requirements of a full time residence, irregardless of climate and weather.

I agree with your comments, James D. You had me up to “irregardless” though. ;D

@jb — how much do you think it should cost? I decent 28 foot RV will be in the $35-45K range. A 28 foot Airstream can run you $110K. Yeah, I wish a house like this was cheaper but that probably isn’t too realistic. Also, love this house.

I Love it. The wood stove sold me. But the kitchen would have made me want it anyway. Or maybe the bathroom I love the idea of having a washer/dryer to throw dirty clothes in soon as you step into the shower. Yes indeed if I had the money I would be knocking down the door to buy it😍

The biggest issue I see it the THOW were to allow people to live a freer life, save money, but these are becoming so elaborate and costing as much, and more, than “standard houses,” and if you need any ADA sections…add 20% more
