Hello to all the Tiny House Lovers out there and Blessings ♡ The ‘Damesfly House’, is absolutely gorgeous! The craftsmanship, the windows, the hammered copper sink! Everything about this House is just perfect. Even though it is small, it feels spacious and zen like. You have created quite a Beauty and I admire your talents, All of those involved. Of All the Tiny Houses I have seen, ‘The Damesfly House’, Is Absolutely my favorite and has definitely peeked my curiosity. Thank you for sharing this with us, Blessings ♡
Beautiful craftsmanship and design. I am sure there will be numerous comments about the price, but Abel Zyle does not build houses for folks who want the cheapest place they can buy. He builds houses for those of us who appreciate fine craftsmanship and amazing artistic design. Anyone who has ever built a structure to the level of craftsmanship of Zyls beautiful homes know how many hours go into making a work of art like the Damselfly. If I could figure a way around local zoning codes I would be on the phone today ordering one of Zyls small homes. The Ark is my favorite so far.
The tiny house is wonderful, spacious, and looks well built but no oven. Also, the music is fabulous would you please tell me song/artist? Thanks for sharing!
Music is by Blue Dot Sessions in the video. Here’s a link: http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Blue_Dot_Sessions/
I like this design and from the outside it looks great and individual. However, from the beautiful wood cladding on the outside we move inside into something resembling a packing case. I am not a fan of this characterless sheet wood. It feels sterile. If I were to build this design I would have to rethink the inside woodwork a bit…possibly giving it a much more rustic/Alaska cabin type feel.
However, as someone who currently lives in an Alaskan cabin with a loft, I know that at some point I might not be able to manage a ladder or stairs so the layout of this tiny home gives me some ideas as to a space (the downstairs sleeping area in the film) that could be used initially as a study and then, when the knees fail me, could be converted into a sleeping/lounge area. So pros and cons to this design but I have taken away some good ideas.
Thank you very much!! I love this guy’s enthusiasm by the way. Such passion.
I would want to have my living room area more separate from the kitchen. Feels like having the couch in the kitchen.
