Here’s a fun spot to unwind for a weekend getaway! This adorable A-frame looks like it was based on some of Deek’s A-Frame plans, and the result is a great off-grid glamping cabin.
It sits on a little farmette where there are ducks and chickens and fresh strawberries. The nearby water and overgrown foliage provide a home for local wildlife.
Take a look at it below! I want to build one now.

Off-Grid Glamping in a Waterside A-Frame
There’s an outhouse and a picnic table.
The porch sits right on the water.
A futon provides a perfect spot to sleep.
There’s a bridge to the A-frame.
The mosquito net allows you to sleep and not get eaten!
Clear plexiglass lets the light in.
There’s a door for when the roof isn’t open.
I like the mini triangle window.
They even added a tiny window box!
Such wonderful colors.
It feels like a little hidden hollow.
Cooking over a wood stove.
Would you stay here?
The cabin is 80 sq. feet with sloping interior walls and a flip up side wall. There is no running water or electricity so unplug and unwind.
