Honey Creek is going in at Boone, North Carolina. The operator’s homepage calls it Boone’s first ever tiny home community, coming Fall of 2026.
Lot reservations are already on their reserve page. You buy the house as personal property and pay lot rent for the pad — water, sewer, landscaping, a private gate code, a private garden area, and amenity access sit in that rent. Power is billed separately by kWh.
The porch shot on their homes pages looks out over gravel lots and a few parked models, mountains behind the tree line. That is the pitch: a house you own, on a lot you rent, in the High Country.
The interiors they show have the usual High Country mix: wood ceilings, big glass, a porch you actually sit on. From the living room of one model, French doors open to the deck and the windows look out on neighboring houses and a tree line. A kitchen island sits in the foreground; a timber stair goes up to the loft.
As of August 27, 2026, starting-at prices on Our Homes — not a tape-measure — are: The Mountaineer, $179,999. The Starview, $174,999. The Creekside, $169,999. The Homestead, $174,999, still marked Coming Soon.
The Mountaineer is the model they walk hardest. Sage shiplap, a dark-wood kitchen with a breakfast bar, a loft over the hall, a ground-floor bedroom at the far end. Stainless range and fridge. Open-tread stairs with a black rail.
The living room is the wide part of the plan — sofa under a three-pane window, wood trim around the glass, trees outside, a glass door to the deck. This is a house you own and leave on a lot, not a trailer you hitch every weekend.
That last part is the constraint. Each home is individually owned as personal property. The land stays with Honey Creek. Lot rent is the monthly number, printed in three tiers on Our Community.
The land side is why they keep saying Boone. The homepage names a trout pond, community gardens, a mountain creek, and community areas.
The creek photos on their site are the quiet ones: rocks, rhododendron, a shallow mountain stream. That is the amenity they put first.

Phase I is listed as 6–12 months. Phase II is 12+ months. Some lots already say Reserved. Models are keyed on that page: M for The Mountaineer, C for The Creekside, S for The Starview, H for The Homestead.
The hard part is the calendar. Fall 2026 is still ahead. The Homestead is coming soon. Some lots are already reserved, and the published office at 162 Running Stream Dr. in Boone is appointment only, Monday through Friday, 10am to 5pm.
If you have been reading Acony Bell or the village in the Tennessee hills, this is a different North Carolina park: new, High Country, house-as-personal-property, with lot-rent tiers printed on the operator’s own page.
