This van is so sleek and well-crafted and bursting with fun features. While this is only the third van Ikey has built all on his own, he has experience working on nearly 30 rigs with several van conversion companies. He got started right out of high school and those years of hard work show in his van, Patience.
She has a flip-down back deck, “green” wall, Murphy bed, surfboard tunnel, hidden toilet, and a gorgeous tile backsplash Ikey meticulously put together. Highlights:
- Ikey started converting vans right out of highschool, first with a number of companies and now on his own.
- This van named Patience he built for himself, to meet his own unique needs.
- There’s a Murphy bed that folds down over the L-shaped dinette.
- His kitchen has a two-burner propane cook top, a deep sink, and an efficient mini fridge.
- Because the Murphy bed created dead space against the wall, he was able to craft a “surfboard tunnel” inside the van.
