This is an adorable tiny house on wheels designed by the owner and built by professional tiny house builders in New Zealand. Jill uses the house as an Airbnb rental after retiring from podiatry.
The sweet house has two lofts, one for lounging and another with a standing loft and a queen-sized bed. To get to the main bedroom, there’s a handy retractable staircase (which I think should be a standard tiny house feature!). The house also has a dishwasher in the galley kitchen, and a washing machine in the cozy bathroom. What do you like most about this design?

- After a career as a podiatrist, Jill decided to get into Airbnb rentals! This tiny house was largely her design, but built by a new company in New Zealand.
- She incorporated some of her favorite features from her “big house” into this one, including a galley-style kitchen for ease of food preparation.
- The kitchen includes a dishwasher, which was a must for Jill.
- The neatest feature of the home is the retractable staircase, which allowed them to put in the washing machine.
- The main bedroom has a stand-up landing next to the bed, so you don’t have to crawl in the loft space.
