Yulande is a tiny-house-dweller and the owner of a tiny house building company after years in the furniture design industry! She lives in South Africa in her company’s flagship model.
The home has a large wall of folding glass doors that open up to the front porch and let the inside and outside collide. Indoors, the home is studio-style with a picture window next to the ground-floor bed (with huge drawer storage underneath!). And just wait until you see the sleek, black shower stall in the bathroom. I am following her on Instagram for a while already. Her designs are showing her furniture experience and aren’t overloaded but modern and functional.
Steel framing and metal siding is the way to go to reduce weight and cold bridges, for longevity and reduced maintenance.
Huge glass fronts, picture windows connecting the outdoors, no lofts, all these avoid to feel cramped.
Beside that her pricing is still in the area TH should be. Many local builders are close to or even above six digits.
