Bert is a van conversion built by Ermenegildo and Lou in Quebec, Canada. It took them about six months to create their dream rig, complete with a convertible home office, functional van kitchen, and nifty bathroom with a zip-up door.
They made the rig perfect for their lifestyle, installing a unique heating system with hoses that direct the heat where they need it — including the shower! But for them, the best part of van life is the community and being part of the nomadic movement.

Details:
- Ermenegildo and Lou built their bus “Bert” over 6 months in Quebec, Canada. It’s designed for enjoying the outdoors and living efficiently.
- They chose a space-saving U-shaped kitchen with a deep bar sink with a retractable faucet for outdoor showers. A recessed induction cooktop sits on the “pop up” part of the counter.
- For work, they recently installed a unique fold-up desk with a comprehensive audio system.
- They have a bathroom with a cool waterproof curtain that zips around the shower stall!
- The beach wood interiors create a light, airy feel, and they incorporated tons of nifty storage solutions throughout the van.
