The first photo says it all—it’s home. The thing that sets it apart is the actual furniture pieces and soft window coverings. I love the salt and pepper chess pieces. Love the porch. And her doggies are to live for. Great dream to go to sleep on. Nightie night.
    Love Lyn

Oh, so lovely! Love the exterior wood siding and the fabulous deck that extends the living space so beautifully. Having the kitchen at one end does allow for a very complete place to cook and not feel cramped or crowded if someone needs to go past you. Galley kitchens are ok but the ones at the end are better. I’d make a couple of changes just to suit my own personal preferences…and these suggestions are not meant to disparage the choices the owner made. They suit her specific needs and that’s great! I’m not a chess player so I’d remove the butcher block with the chessboard…admittedly the salt and pepper pieces are unique and fun…so I would have room for a nice big couch, probably a daybed. I’d really like to have at least a couple of regular cupboards with doors so I wouldn’t have to worry about keeping spices and misc. bottles perfectly organized to look nice on an open shelf. Again, personal preference. I am glad to see a nice metal solid door as the entry. I know that glass front doors let in more light but a nice solid door offers more privacy and security. Bravo! I would be tempted to sleep on that daybed I mentioned and use the bedroom for my art studio. That way, I can keep the mess behind a closed door if someone comes over for a visit. This Tiny House is a creamy dreamy haven to make a personal nest in and it’s very nearly perfect, even without my suggested changes. Kudos to the designer(s)! Thanks for sharing!
