Nikki’s bus is proof that maximalists can live tiny! An artist and web designer, Nikki knew what she wanted in a home, and she made it happen. There’s a desk for her web design, a large counter-top studio for her art, and most incredibly, a full-sized soaking tub in the middle of the bus with a 200-gallon water tank and on-demand hot water tank.

She also snuck in a side-by-side fridge & freezer, a massive farmhouse sink, and a washer/dryer unit. On the back of the bus, she has a spacious deck that houses her generator and more exterior storage. What more could you want?

  1. I cannot imagine the reasoning behind having a huge bathtub right across from the oven, cooktop, refrigerator, etc. No privacy and just plain gross!

    1. It’s a small space, so it goes where it fits, vehicles especially you have to worry about keeping weight properly distributed, but soaking tubs typically can be placed anywhere and that’s actually normal. Tubs can be in living rooms, etc. often to take advantage of views and environments that help the owner relax and enjoy themselves.

While living alone means there’s no one else there and she has all the windows covered with curtains… So she has her privacy… She does have to keep the tub clean but in a small space that would be the case anyway…
