These units can be had for as little as $500 at auction or from a repossession company and with as little a $10,000 can become a small home paradise. The hard part is finding the right Handi-man type to do the work for you and researching where you will put the upgraded unit. Ideally an Owner/Co-Op type park is the most advantageous in that you will have ownership and management rights for the land you are using. This unit is fairly unadorned and simple but easy to maintain.
My parents’ have one of the wider park model homes and I love it. Especially because it’s right near the beach!
