Very nice, but for me I would need washer/dryer combo. I really hate laundry mats.
It is very nice not fond of laundry mats too but I can survive.
LAUNDROMAT! There is no such thing as a Laundry Mat unless you are talking about a mat that is on the floor of a Laundromat!
Not bad at all, far better than most if have seen. Those custom window fixtures are going to add a chunk to the price, which is pro0bably already way more than I would pay for similar construction. Way too much white inside for my liking, and I would most definitely lose the French doors.
Its really nice, refreshing and it shows that its mobile.
As they said it can be customized to integrate washer/dryer.
I would prefer to put it on a flatbed for towing it on my own instead of
hiring a truck when it needs to be moved.
Some awning would be fine, too.
But overall its more beautiful than the common shrink tiny homes using the street legal height and their ugly proportion.
Wow! Does that come with land?
I would like to see this one built as a 28 footer. that would give you seating room and dinning room. Plus I would move the window over in the bathroom by the toilet so I could have a mirror over sink. So adding 10ft,make kitchen counter 2ft longer so you can hang that dish shelf next to window. then there would be 8ft between counter and closet. then there would be room on front wall just pass door to have seating. the 8ft space between counter and closet is for dinning. Just food for thought for this company.
Another food for thought for the builders. Move the bed off the wall a foot. The space for dinning then wood be only 7ft. They could also make it wider than 7.5 . More like 8.5 which would give you a foot at end of bed so bed could be made up easy. Also where they now have stools for seating you could put a freestanding apartment stove for cooking. I know this would cost more money, but it would be worth it to have comfort.
Many nice details. love the wall control for flush. However lovely the windows/hardware are, where are the screens? French doors are lovely, but again no screens. No stove….Big price.
Love that it is all on one level and so clean looking.
It would make a great little getaway cabin but I would need more storage for full time living
These places certainly are nice but, at a considerable price. I think some people have lost their minds on just what affordable means and how much profit is reasonable. As a carpenter for most of my life I’ve got a pretty good idea of what most of these cost to build, this is exactly what’s wrong with this country.
Jim, you are right the tiny house movement has become an industry.
But in this case you have to consider, manufacturing in the UK (they need to make some profit), shipping costs, US dealer (another cost and profit) beside fees and taxes.
However, the only way to avoid all these is to make it on your own.
But not everybody is willing and capable to do so.
Are the windows a brand? i like the bar that holds them in place once open. I also thing the dining area could be larger but we humans are adaptable to eating just about anywhere. 🙂
I’ve been doing research on Shepherds Huts. This one is a very high quality craftsmanship brand. The bathroom option is a huge plus. The French Doors give it a more spacious feel and if you don’t like the ‘cottage’ look these aren’t for you. This is not a shed, it is true craftsmanship throughout and an authentic replica of something historical. This is what you are paying for. They are all over Europe as getaway rentals and are not well known about in America. I would like a more mobile road worthy version, just like it. If you are looking for an economical tiny home this is not it. This is just lovely and someone who really appreciates that there’s one here in America will pay what it’s worth. Lucky camper!
Nothing like reading, ridiculing options of individuals hard work….
