Container homes are becoming popular all over the world — this one is tucked into the rugged landscape of Sicily! It features awesome bubble windows on either side and a window wall with views overlooking the countryside. Private and idyllic, this modern stay is something to write home about.

There’s an outdoor jacuzzi and a large terrace where you can enjoy a glass of wine. Inside, one-half of the container is dedicated to a sleeping area/kitchenette, and the rest is an open-concept bathroom complete with a rainfall shower head. What is your favorite part of this container?

Gorgeous Container with Bubble Windows & A Hot Tub

I love all the porthole windows on both sides.

There are no walls inside this studio.

The futon looks out this entire-wall window onto the Sicily countryside.

A comfortable spot to rest!

There are blinds up high to cover all the windows at night.

Look at the views!

There’s a sleek closet/kitchenette here.

The rest of the container is a bathroom.

Toilet, bidet and shower with plants.

Love the towel-warmer!

Looking from the other end of the container.

I love the plant addition.

Look at the ruggedness of the terrain!

Straight-on view.

Lit up steps lead to the container.

I like how the container comes off the edge.

Solar-power!

And here’s the outdoor hot tub.

I love the Sicily location. In about that same footprint, I like my “J” wall design a bit better with the 1.5 bath. Having this much view there are many options for extending the view surface, mounting parallel to the peak would give each room an ocean view. The interior is very clean but maybe a solid wall for the bath area separation. The shades are a really trick idea. Although I am not a fan of the round window idea and prefer a window seat idea as more practical. The other side of the walkway would be a great area for a 3-D printed “J” Wall B&B unit I have designed FOR printing…With that new Geopolymer system that cures in 45 minutes and uses no water a great combo…
