I love grain silo homes! What a neat way to repurpose an old structure; and it’s round which makes it even niftier!
Off the front of the silo, you’ll find a lovely porch overlooking the secluded woods/countryside. Inside you’ll walk into the open-concept living/dining/kitchen area, with all the conveniences of home (minus an oven). There’s a bathroom with a luxurious tiled shower, as well as a queen-sized bed with gorgeous views accessible via a fun floating staircase.
This silo was self-built by the owners and took about 5 months to complete. You can rent it on Airbnb here.

Vacation in One of Tennessee’s Grain Silo Homes!
The grain silo is 30 years old and got a new life!
Turner (the father of one of the owners) owned this silo.
Awesome custom-made door takes you inside.
Lovely entryway with big windows.
This “mat” is actually corn covered in epoxy! How neat.
Sleek black sofa gives you a nice place to relax.
In the bathroom, there’s lots of storage.
Adorable kitchen with an awesome red retro fridge!
More cozy seating with fun decor.
Seating for two under this “T” sign made of old license plates.
The vanity is truly one of a kind.
Here’s the incinerating toilet!
Now THAT’S a shower head! Luxury!
Floating staircase up to the bedroom.
This bed looks like it floating!
Looks like a cozy spot to sleep.
And there’s a skylight!
View from the bedroom. Lovely!
Sit out on the front porch.
Here’s a firepit for a late night marshmallow roast.
