Turner’s Grain Silo Cabin in Tennessee

This post may contain affiliate links & sponsored content.

I love grain silo homes! What a neat way to repurpose an old structure; and it’s round which makes it even niftier!

Off the front of the silo, you’ll find a lovely porch overlooking the secluded woods/countryside. Inside you’ll walk into the open-concept living/dining/kitchen area, with all the conveniences of home (minus an oven). There’s a bathroom with a luxurious tiled shower, as well as a queen-sized bed with gorgeous views accessible via a fun floating staircase.

This silo was self-built by the owners and took about 5 months to complete. You can rent it on Airbnb here.

I cannot even begin to figure out what to list first of all the fantastic things in this home. I will try to get a few in though. The staircase is stunning 😍. The kitchen?!? To die for. Those red appliances just draw the eye. The bathroom? Oh be still my foolish heart ❤ 😍! I the shower head alone makes me want it!! And a floating bed!!! Genius! I could go on all day but let me leave it with “this is an exquisite little home!”

Fun fact! You can get a shower head like from Amazon for under $40! We installed one in our shower and it’s *amazing*!! That said, it does go through the hot water quickly haha.

I’d like to know about insulation, also!
Loved the vanity in the bathroom. Super-easy to clean, stain-resistant, and a clean look as well.
