These incredible tiny sphere shelters are completely suspended from the trees around them.
They’re built by hand by the creative engineering genius, Tom Chudleigh, from Free Spirit Spheres in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia, Canada.

Tiny Hanging Sphere Cabins

Tom started building spheres from wood using a technique similar to what you’d see on a cedar strip canoe.
The process took him thousands of hours and after completing two, he decided to make a mold of the spheres, and continued producing them with fiberglass as an alternative building material.

The unique space saving furniture was all designed and built by Tom, and he also sculpted and cast his own bronze hardware for the doors and windows. He’s really a jack of all trades.
