Remember the architect behind the Pinecone Treehouse we showed you recently? Well he has a whole new endeavor! A franchise of his innovative O2 Treewalkers Treehouses.
These are unique treehouse tents feature a modular wooden base with a canvas roof. The idea behind the project is to give homeowners a reasonably-priced way to get into the Airbnb rental business, all with the Treewalkers brand behind them to help promote their spaces.
When you climb up into the treehouse, you’ll find a round space where you can include a bed, bench seating, and storage. The treehouses start at $35,000, and if you’d like to get on the list you can learn more here. Thanks James D. for sharing!

$35,000 ????? For a glorified tent ? Ridicules You got to be joking .
Or you have more money than you have good sense.
No, it’s much more than just a tent… That’s just an option for how you can enclose it…
It’s actually a engineered modular kit that allows you to easily create either an elevated platform or treehouse configuration, with everything needed to create a commercial rental glamping unit that you then customize how you want, including workshop training seminars. The idea is to create a rental business for a network of glamping sites and once you create more than 15 sites then you buy into the franchise business that’ll network your sites with all their other sites.
It’s like opening your own McDonald’s, 7-Eleven, Dunkin’ Donuts, The UPS Store, RE/MAX, Sonic Drive-In, Great Clips, Taco Bell. Hardee’s Restaurants, Sport Clips, etc. Each of those are examples of the top ten franchise businesses you can buy into and run your own…
Interesting and pretty nice. With the fires that are surrounding us now up here in the Sequoia National Forest, Glamping seems to be a past. The cost is a tad to high for my taste. It is very cool looking.
